OPTIMO S ATX – 1st limited lot available shortly

OPTIMO S ATX

It’s been a very long road, but it was worth going through that journey. It is the most advanced JCAT product designed ever – developed entirely in-house. I am very proud of it and I hope some of you will enjoy it as much as I do.

While we have been using and stress testing final OPTIMO S ATX units for months, nobody expected manufacturing a batch of the product will be so challenging, even a year after the worst pandemic wave.

The supply-chain of components required to build OPTIMO S ATX almost collapsed. With such a complex product – one unit consists of hundreds components – sourcing enough volume becomes an issue. When we finalized the design and checked availability of all components, availability was not an issue. Few weeeks later lead times increased dramatically, in worst case to 72 weeks (it’s over 500 days!).

Long story short, we managed to secure enough components for the 1st batch of OPTIMO S ATX, although at much much higher prices. But rest assured – we will not increase the price of the OPTIMO S ATX. I already announced the price on our official forum and I intend to keep my word. However, I can’t guarantee that we will be able to maintain the price for next batches.

I attached a sneak peak of the final unit’s internals. Please stay tuned for the release.

Best regards,
Marcin Ostapowicz

120 hours now that the JCAT Optima ATX is powered up and powering the i9-12900K+JCAT NET Card XE+SOtM tX-USBexp.
What can I say… Whouahhhh: timbre accuracy, warmth, details, realistic soundstage (no, no, no more than that).  I had dreamed of it, I really needed it, it’s done: a pure delight!
